Shay McElroy's is an Irish pub on the ground floor of the Rice Lofts building (built 1913) at 909 Texas Avenue in Houston's Main Street Square Historic District. Owned by Dublin native John "Max" McElroy and his wife Valerie, it opened in 2003 and is built around a 19th-century bar shipped from Ireland.
