- Turn on Bartending in SettingsAdd your TABC expiry, the parts of town you will work, and a line about your experience. Your profile gets a Bartender badge.
- Get pinged when a bar near you is shortIn the app, and by email unless you turn that off. Set your home zip so you only hear about shifts within about 15 miles.
- Apply in a tapSay how they should reach you and add a note. Only that venue sees your contact info.
- Hear back fastIf they pick you, you get "You're on" with their number. If someone else covers it, you're told that too.
For venues
- Claim your venue (free)Then open its Manage page and the Bookings tab.
- Post the shiftPick "Bartender (cover a shift)", set the time and the pay (like $15/hr + tips). Bartenders nearby are pinged the moment you post.
- See who appliedEach applicant shows their TABC date, experience, the areas they work, their note and how to reach them.
- Pick oneThe shift is marked filled, they get your number, and everyone else is told it is covered.
Good to know
- It's free. No fees for posting or applying.
- Pay is between you and the venue. Regulars Guide doesn't employ anyone or handle payroll.
- TABC is self-reported. Venues should check the certificate like they would for any hire.
- Your email stays private. Venues only see the contact you choose to share when you apply.
